How is Unhotel different from other travel companies?
We don't do packages. Every trip starts with a conversation about what draws you, then we design from there. Some pieces come from partners we've worked with for years. Others are built around your interests. But the approach stays the same: thoughtful, personal, never templated.
Why travel with Unhotel?
You get a trip designed around your pace, plus a team behind you throughout so there are no surprises. We handle the emergencies. Trusted on-ground partners, honest judgement on what to do and what not to do, and upgrades that uplift the quality of your trip.
When should I reach out before my trip?
Two to six months gives us time to design something considered and lock in the right stays. Europe often needs extra lead time for visas. That said, we've pulled together beautiful trips in three to four weeks when timelines are tight.
Do you work with families, groups, and solo travellers?
Yes to all. Multi-generational families, senior groups, women's groups, solo travellers, couples. We understand the pace and comfort our travellers need, and we plan accordingly. We also have a Family Travel Office for families seeking dedicated, full-service planning. What matters isn't who you're travelling with. It's how you want to travel.
What does “bespoke” actually mean in practice?
We start with a blank page. We ask what makes you happy, what you're looking for from travel, then build from there. No two Unhotel trips look alike.
What happens after I enquire?
We'll ask about dates, budget, and what draws you. Then we come back with a first direction - the shape of your holiday. Once you're aligned, we charge a small design fee to build the detailed itinerary and start locking things in. That fee gets absorbed into your trip cost when you book with us.
